Packing for the Anthology Yoga & Pilates retreat is like preparing for a soulful adventure. Make sure to bring your comfiest clothes for our practices, a yoga mat if you have one (though mat and props are provided), sunscreen, hat, beach towel, bikinis/swimsuit, your summer clothes, and a journal to jot down your reflections. Don’t forget any personal items like toiletries, any required travel documents and your enthusiasm for the journey inward!

Not at all! All practitioners are welcome at the Anthology Yoga & Pilates retreat, from beginners to advanced. It’s more about your willingness to engage with the practice and immerse yourself in the experience. Anthoula and Anthi are experts at making everyone feel welcome and supported! They will offer variations and modifications to accommodate different levels of experience and ability.

A typical day starts with a morning pilates/yoga session, followed by a rich and healthy greek style brunch. The rest of the day is free time for relaxation or exploration, optional excursions, and evening yoga/ pilates or meditation sessions. Expect to embrace the original slow-living, as a typical summer time in Greece, where you let go of the flow. All meals are especially catered for us based on the Greek cuisine with mostly locally sourced ingredients.

Many attend alone and immerse themselves in a supportive and nurturing environment. Our Anthology Yoga & Pilates retreat fosters a sense of community, making it easy for solo travelers to connect with others. Of course, if you have a friend who’s also feeling the call to unwind and recharge, bringing them along can add an extra layer of fun and connection. But whether you come alone or with a buddy, you’re sure to have an amazing experience.

The retreat is hosted at Aiora Villas, located at Ammouliani island, an enchanting, pure area, with crystal clear blue waters and extensive sandy beaches that create the ideal setting for special holidays under the sun! The villas are located on top of a hill overlooking the Aegean sea, surrounded by nature, offering a serene and tranquil environment conducive to relaxation. There are 5 separate villas each with 1-2 double bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom equipped with all necessities (shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, body cream, and towels of excellent quality) private courtyard and sea-view! You can choose between a shared bedroom or single occupancy.

Get ready to treat your taste buds. Our private chef will prepare delicious, nourishing meals two times per day, a rich brunch and a yummy dinner. You can expect plenty of fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, and locally sourced delights like fresh fish, cheese pitas and local desserts. All based on balanced Greek cuisine.  Dietary restrictions? No worries! Just let us know in advance, and our chef will happily accommodate your needs.

Absolutely! The main focus of the retreat is to relax, re-charge and let go of any tension through various ways; yoga, pilates, meditation, breathwork, mindful movement, but also through just doing nothing. There’s plenty of free time to explore the surrounding area and soak up the local vibes. Whether you’re itching to hike through nature, wander through the main village, or simply lounge on the beach, you’ll have time to do just that. It’s all about finding your own balance between zen moments, social connection and adventure.
